(Berlin, DE) – Paul van Dyk is about to launch his own iPhone DJ application, and it’s not gonna be just your ordinary fun-for-five-minutes tool. It’s mobile mixing taken literally.
Although Paul’s not the first DJ to drop his own iPone application -Deadmau5 released a similar tool a little while ago- his is certainly one of the most complete, incorporating a number of functions that exceed those standrad mobile mixing features. The application comes with a BPM counter, a frequency analyser, a seismic reader and, big yay here, a glow stick. Sure, it’s still nowhere near the real thing, but at least it’s way more fun that tons of other useless iPhone apps…
